Captain Chad is a very knowledgeable guide who is born and raised in Venice who works very hard to get his clients on the fish. Awesome fishing with Captain Chad,Southern access charters,He knows where the fish are and how to put them in the boat. My wife and I are an older couple and this was our 45th wedding anniversary celebration. Captain Chad was very patient, considerate and attentive to our needs as an older couple.The fishing was unbelievably awesome and we really enjoyed our time with Captain Chad. Can’t say enough good about him. I highly recommend that you go fishing with him, you’ll have big fun.

Awesome!!! We have fished with Captain Chad on two separate occasions and have had a blast. He put us on the fish both times. We actually limited out on reds last October in less than 45 minutes. We had to miss our planned trip this past March. We are looking forward to October!! Love this guy and would definitely recommend. You won't be disappointed.

2 days fishing with Captain Chad. Limit of bull reds average 20lbs, 50lb black drum, 40-50 sheepshead, slot redfish, flounder, red snapper. The list goes on. Best guided trip ever.

Great time fishing with captain Chad with my family. With a tropical storm just passing through and a 20mph north wind in the middle of June, we should have been skunked; but captain Chad worked hard to put on fish. We went home with an ice chest full of fillets. Having grown-up in Buras, he knows the Venice waters better than anybody. Chad's a great guy and a fantastic captain.

Best fishing guide in Venice!
My fiance and myself went with Captain Chad and he was awesome! He showed us many different fishing techniques for all the species of fish we caught. He kept us reeling in fish all day long! We went for 3 days with him and every day was an adventure of fishing different areas for fish! He worked hard to find fish and keep us on the fish. We had a blast and he even cleaned all our fish at the end of the day! Best fishing trip of our life! Can't wait to go again with Captain Chad!

One absolutely great trip!!!
From the minute we arrived in the fishing area the action was hot and very heavy. First fish on actually broke the rod, but we brought it in anyway, about a 40 lb. Jack Cravelle. Of course, we released it, but what a fight. After that we hit a school of Bull Reds and the fight was on for quite a while. At the end of the day we had 10 Reds, 10 Black Drum, a dozen Sheepshead, 3 Spanish Mackerel, 3 Speckled Trout, and a Florida Pompano. Overall about 300 lbs. of fish. Chad was really great to work with and we will be back.

Weather was tough but Captain Chad moved us a couple of times and put us on lots and lots of fish. He really knows his stuff, knows the area, and helped us to be better fishermen. Very easy to get along with. We will come back to fish with him again.

Super foggy morning, didn’t stop Captain Chad. He put us on fish ASAP. Caught our limit of reds in no time an a ton of sheepshead. Excellent guide. Not only very professional but a lot of fun. This trip was on my bucket list and it was fantastic. We brought about 40 pounds of fillets ready for the grill. Wanted to go on a Sheepshead and Redfish Charter with my wife. What an amazing 2 days of fishing. One of the best days fishing we have ever had. Heading down the end of May for the 3rd year in a row to fish with Chad. Chad is one of the best guides I have ever fished with. His knowledge of the waters around Venice is unparalleled and his equipment is top of the line. One thing about Chad is he will go out of his way to ensure you and your family have a experience of a lifetime. Chad started as our guide 3 years ago but is now a valued friend. We fished with Captain Chad 2 days. Had a great time catching a lot of big fish. We had to dodge rain storms both days, but Chad hustled to help us get our limit on Bull Reds. Also caught a few trout & a boatload of Sheepshead. Overall, great time. Highly recommend Southern Access Charters and Captain Chad. Give him 5 stars. Already making plans for trip next year!
